
Temporary workers are workers that employers would utilize for an indefinite period of time. Reliable Staffing Services recruits, interviews, conduct background checks, and places the individual with the client. RSS would be responsible for the payroll and tax benefit withholding. The employee would not be an employee of the client. The employee does not participate in any of the client’s benefit packages including vacation. The client is responsible for authorization/verification of the employee’s time cards. Of course, the client must adhere to all federal, state and local laws.
Temporary to Permanent workers are similar to temporary workers, but the client would eventually hire the employee after a predetermined period of time. At the time the employee becomes the client’s employee, RSS would no longer be responsible for the taxes, benefits, etc.
Permanent Placement employees are recruited, referred or developed for the client’s direct hire. There is not a period required as a temporary worker; the client will hire the individual directly as an employee.
